JONATHAN GARCIA, CPT, CSCS, LMT, NMT
For more than 14 years, I've helped runners, cyclists, endurance athletes, and active adults become stronger, move better, and stay healthy enough to keep doing what they love.
My coaching philosophy is simple: strength should improve performance, reduce injuries, and help you enjoy your sport for years to come. Whether you're training for your first marathon, preparing for a gravel race, or simply want to move and feel better, I believe the best programs are built on consistency, good movement, and purposeful strength training, not unnecessary complexity.
Every program is individualized around your goals, training history, and lifestyle. I combine strength training, mobility, and endurance principles to improve movement quality, build resilient bodies, and develop strength that transfers to real-world performance. My goal isn't just to help you get stronger, it's to help you become a more durable athlete.
My coaching is shaped not only by years of working with clients but also by my own experience as an athlete. I competed in collegiate cross-country and track at Western State Colorado University, qualifying nationally in cross-country and the 3,000-meter steeplechase before spending six years racing professionally as a cyclist. Throughout my career, I competed at the highest levels of endurance sport, including the Tour of California, Tour of Utah, Tour de Suisse, and represented the United States at the Olympic Test Event in Beijing. After professional cycling, I returned to competitive running and triathlon, including a 2:32 marathon and a top-10 finish at Ironman Branson 70.3.
Today, I bring together that competitive experience with over a decade of coaching and sports massage to help athletes train smarter, stay healthy, and continue performing at a high level. I believe strength is one of the most valuable investments an endurance athlete can make, not only for performance, but for longevity in sport and in life.
