I bring over a decade of experience in personal training, strength coaching, and endurance performance, supported by a strong foundation in anatomy and physiology that guides how I structure programs and coach efficient movement. My approach integrates intelligent strength training, corrective exercise, and endurance principles to help athletes and active adults train efficiently and safely. I emphasize proper mechanics, individualized coaching cues, and structured progression so clients can build strength, improve performance, and reduce injury risk, all while developing long-term durability. Whether working with endurance athletes or adults focused on functional strength, my programming is built around sustainable progress. Strength is not an accessory to endurance, it is a critical component of performance, efficiency, and resilience. I design training that enhances power, stability, and movement quality so athletes can handle higher workloads, recover effectively, and perform consistently.

Alongside my coaching career, I have been immersed in endurance sports for over 20 years. My competitive background began in distance running and led me to compete at Western State Colorado University, one of the top Division II distance programs in the country, where I qualified nationally in cross-country and the 3000m steeplechase. I later transitioned to professional cycling, racing domestically and internationally for six years with elite teams including Einstein Bros. Bagels and the BMC Pro Cycling Team. During that time, I competed in events such as the Tour of California, Tour of Utah, Tour de Suisse, and represented the United States at the Olympic Test Event in Beijing. After professional cycling, I returned to running and triathlon, continuing to compete at a high level with highlights including a 12th-place finish at the Los Angeles Marathon (2:32) and a top-10 finish at Ironman Branson 70.3.Today, I combine firsthand high-level competitive experience with evidence-based strength and endurance coaching to help athletes and active adults build stronger, more resilient bodies — and perform at their highest level for the long term.

My background includes specialized training in infantry tactics, Marine Corps Martial Arts (MCMAP), Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, cold weather survival, and physical and mental resilience—skills that have shaped both my physical expertise and leadership style.As a graduate of the Marine Corps’ resident career-level leadership courses, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to motivate, guide, and support individuals through mental and physical challenges. Having personally experienced and overcome injury during active duty, I understand the importance of a structured, sustainable recovery. My approach emphasizes progression that builds strength, resilience, and long-term health—whether you’re returning from injury, starting your fitness journey, or training for elite performance.I’m committed to helping every client push past perceived limits with confidence and purpose—because fitness isn’t just about the body, it’s about mindset, adaptability, and perseverance.
